澳大利亚科廷科技大学2022年招聘博士后(数据分析和综合方法)

Postdoctoral Research Fellowship (NHMRC HEAL National Network)

Curtin University Of Technology

Description

Job Reference: 941145

Your new role Reporting to Dr Ivan Hanigan, this postdoctoral position is based at Curtin University's WHO Collaborating Centre for Environmental Health Impact Assessment in the Faculty of Health Sciences. In this role you will be part of the NHMRC's HEAL national network. You will work across the Data and Decision Support Systems (DDSS) work package of the HEAL network with a focus on methodology for data analysis and synthesis. You will build analytical tools, develop new data assets such as environmental health indicators, vulnerability stratification definitions, and conduct scenario-based forecasting in climate change health impact assessments. The analysis and synthesis activity will form a hub for the HEAL group to perform exposure/health data linking and facilitate observational studies, simulations, and interventions. The important work you do in this role will optimise analysis and synthesis methods that speed up the transfer from raw datasets to polished research outputs.

DrHanigan's strong links with other collaborating investigators at Curtin, QUT and U-Sydney will ensure that the work on dataset synthesis will complement the work of the HEAL Observatory, Story Data Atlas, Bushfires/Extreme Weather and Health Systems research groups. This position coordinates analysis and synthesis activities across the DDSS theme, and all the other HEAL working groups.

We are looking for an experienced researcher, with a doctoral qualification (or close PhD completion) in a relevant discipline area. You will also have knowledge of, and/or experience working with our technology and will have the opportunity for industry placements with partners FrontierSI and NGIS.
